Route

What is the TikTok Ads MMP integration?

A TikTok Ads MMP integration connects TikTok for Business to your mobile measurement partner so installs and in-app events from TikTok campaigns are attributed and shared back for optimisation, with cost data on top where the MMP supports it.

Scope

What does the TikTok Ads integration usually cover?

  • MMP tracking links attribute app installs and in-app events from TikTok ads
  • Cost integration sends TikTok ad spend into MMP dashboards (some MMPs charge extra)
  • Without an MMP, TikTok recommends the Traffic objective and click tracking

From TikTok Ads Help: mobile measurement partner tracking, checked 2 Nov 2026.

Setup

Is TikTok Ads a self-attributing network?

Yes. TikTok Ads is treated as a self-attributing network in the MMP docs we read: the MMP sends it install and event data and TikTok Ads replies with the installs it claims, instead of clicks running through the MMP's tracking link.

What to check before you launch

  • Whether the MMP runs TikTok as a self-attributing network or through click tracking links
  • Which events are posted back to TikTok for optimisation
  • Whether TikTok cost data is imported, and if it costs extra
  • SKAN or AdAttributionKit handling for iOS campaigns

If the numbers do not line up after launch, the TikTok attribution gaps troubleshooter walks through the usual causes.

FAQ

Questions

Which MMPs integrate with TikTok Ads?

Adjust, Airbridge, AppsFlyer, Branch, Kochava, Linkrunner, Singular and Tenjin list TikTok Ads in their own docs; AppMetrica list it for part of the job only. Each row links to the MMP's own page, checked 2 Nov 2026.

Can I run TikTok app campaigns without an MMP?

TikTok's help suggests the Traffic objective with click tracking if you have no MMP. App install campaigns that optimise for installs and in-app events rely on an MMP integration.

What is an MMP ad network integration?

It is the documented connection between a mobile measurement partner and an ad network: tracking links or API access for attribution, postbacks that send installs and events back to the network, and often cost data. Without it, the network cannot optimise on your in-app events and the MMP cannot credit the network.

What does Not listed mean on this site?

It means we could not find the network in the MMP's public partner directory or help docs when we checked. It does not mean the MMP cannot work with that network: many MMPs add partners on request, so ask the vendor in writing.

What is a self-attributing network?

A self-attributing network (SAN) such as Meta, Google Ads, TikTok or Apple Ads does not use the MMP's click tracking links. The MMP sends it install and event data, and the network replies with whether it claims the install.

What is a postback?

A postback is a server-to-server message from the MMP to the ad network saying an install or in-app event happened and which click or campaign it belongs to. Networks use postbacks to report results and to optimise bidding.
