What is the Pinterest Ads MMP integration?

Scope

What does the Pinterest Ads integration usually cover?

  • MMPs collect, organise and analyse app data and can send app conversions to Pinterest
  • oCPM campaigns need conversion data via the Conversions API or an MMP
  • app_install event ingested from the Conversions API or MMP integrations, with deduplication

From Pinterest Business Help: third-party partner integration set-up options, checked 2 Nov 2026.

Pinterest Ads's own page names these MMPs: Adjust, Airbridge, AppsFlyer, Branch, Kochava, Singular.

Setup

Is Pinterest Ads a self-attributing network?

No. Pinterest Ads works through the MMP's tracking links: clicks pass through the MMP's link, the MMP attributes the install and sends a postback to Pinterest Ads.

What to check before you launch

  • Whether the MMP sends app conversions to Pinterest, as oCPM campaigns need them
  • How installs are de-duplicated against the Conversions API if you use both
  • Click and view-through windows set in the MMP
  • Cost data import
FAQ

Questions

Which MMPs integrate with Pinterest Ads?

Adjust, Airbridge, AppsFlyer, Branch, Kochava, Singular and Tenjin list Pinterest Ads in their own docs. Each row links to the MMP's own page, checked 2 Nov 2026.

Are MMPs Pinterest Conversions API partners?

Not technically. Pinterest's partner page notes that MMPs are not Conversions API partners, but they can send app conversion events to Pinterest, which de-duplicates them against Conversions API events.

What is an MMP ad network integration?

It is the documented connection between a mobile measurement partner and an ad network: tracking links or API access for attribution, postbacks that send installs and events back to the network, and often cost data. Without it, the network cannot optimise on your in-app events and the MMP cannot credit the network.

What does Not listed mean on this site?

It means we could not find the network in the MMP's public partner directory or help docs when we checked. It does not mean the MMP cannot work with that network: many MMPs add partners on request, so ask the vendor in writing.

What is a self-attributing network?

A self-attributing network (SAN) such as Meta, Google Ads, TikTok or Apple Ads does not use the MMP's click tracking links. The MMP sends it install and event data, and the network replies with whether it claims the install.

What is a postback?

A postback is a server-to-server message from the MMP to the ad network saying an install or in-app event happened and which click or campaign it belongs to. Networks use postbacks to report results and to optimise bidding.
